I wanted to share with you the upcoming temporary seasonal jobs and the few permanent fire jobs that we have available right now on the Sawtooth National Forest. Jobs range from fisheries, to wildlife, wilderness to trails, river patrol to fire prevention, noxious weeds eradication to helitack. Most jobs are entry level and do offer on the job training. Almost all jobs provide opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors, and offer some sort of local or government housing (pending availability). Please share this any way you see fit with others that may be interested as well. Here is a link to our jobs page on our forest: http://www.fs.usda.gov/main/sawtooth/about-forest/jobs
The reason that you have been contacted for this is because we are looking for outgoing, bright, and talented people to be a apart of the Sawtooth National Forest. It is my belief that you may know quite a few who are looking for some meaningful work to either compliment their education or help pay for school. Attached is documentation on available jobs, and how to apply through USAJOBS, the federal services application portal. We are trying to cast the net as wide and as far as possible. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me so that I can answer them. Also, make sure to follow us on twitter @SawtoothNatlFS for up to the minute information on hiring and happenings on the Sawtooth National Forest.

So please, forward this on or print it out for your students so that they may see that one of the most spectacular places in the United States is looking for some equally spectacular employees for the summer. Thanks for your time.
Best Regards
