The AMNH is searching for a scientific assistant to manage the maintenance, registry, and organization of the mineral deposits and volcanology collections; assist the curator in research activities; and assist the manager of the electron microprobe and FTIR laboratories. A Bachelor's degree in Geology or Earth Science is required, and experience with electron microprobe, SEM and/or FTIR is preferred.
