The deadline to apply to most positions is 2 February 2017, but newer positions will have later deadlines. Many current applications are incomplete, so please read the revised Application Tip Sheet<http://GSOA.informz.net/z/cjUucD9taT02MjI4MDY0JnA9MSZ1PTEwNjgwMjc5MjQmbGk9NDA1ODM3ODE/index.html> to ensure that your application is completed on time.

National Park Service Geoscientists-in-the-Parks (GIP)
The deadline to apply to most positions in the GIP program<http://GSOA.informz.net/z/cjUucD9taT02MjI4MDY0JnA9MSZ1PTEwNjgwMjc5MjQmbGk9NDA1ODM3ODM/index.html> is 2 February 2017. Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is seeking more applicants for its Paleontology Assistant<http://GSOA.informz.net/z/cjUucD9taT02MjI4MDY0JnA9MSZ1PTEwNjgwMjc5MjQmbGk9NDA1ODM3ODU/index.html> position, which has an earlier deadline of 24 January, and Yellowstone National Park is seeking more applicants for its Interdisciplinary Resource Technician<http://GSOA.informz.net/z/cjUucD9taT02MjI4MDY0JnA9MSZ1PTEwNjgwMjc5MjQmbGk9NDA1ODM3ODc/index.html> position. The deadline to apply for a 2017 grant to support your master's or doctoral thesis research is 1 February 2017. Financial Assistance to Attend the 2017 GSA Northeastern/North-Central Joint Section Meeting
Non-traditional undergraduate students are encouraged to apply for travel awards to attend the GSA Northeastern and North Central Joint Section Meeting, 19-21 March 2017, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
