Hello geofolks!

Tomorrow, May 1st, Dr. Elizabeth Denis will be visiting us from the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. Dr. Denis is a geochemist and will be presenting her research entitled "Production and preservation of organic and fire-derived carbon across the Paleocene-Eocene Thermal Maximum" at 4pm in CF120. In addition, she will present a short brown bag talk at noon in ES223 entitled "Tracking carbon through the root-rhizosphere-soil continuum". I look forward to seeing all you carbon-based lifeforms at the talks!
