Hello Geofolks,

Inspired by Paul Rady's talk earlier in the week, I am going to take the open GLT spot this Friday (tomorrow) to give an impromptu presentation on the geochemistry of natural gases. My hope is to explain some of the common terminology in the oil & gas industry and to tackle questions like what is natural gas? How does it form? Why should we care about it? I will also take the opportunity to share some of my current research on the geochemistry of hydrocarbons.
