Our Natural Resources Department is looking to hire both a season field technician and a Natural Resource Specialist.

The tech would be a field hand to me, a general laborer (irrigating/weeding/mowing current or future restoration projects), and a general jack of all trades in the office (Basic-Intermediate ArcMap/Pro, Excel, and Word experience). For my field hand, I'm looking for someone who is familiar with the basics of surface/ground water hydrology, taking discharge measurements, and creating rating curves. Additionally, they'd be helping me/independently installing equipment and collecting water quality/groundwater/temperature data around the county. This is the route I took into full time work with the county and could make for a good pathway for someone else interested in restoration.

We also have a position open for a Natural Resource Specialist, which requires a few years of experience and is more of a project development role. Between current/graduating students and alum, I'm sure there'll be no shortage of interested folks.
