Congress has recently directed the USGS to create a new seamless digital geologic map of the United States, and we are seeking multiple geologists with expertise in geologic mapping and strong GIS skills to help us achieve this ambitious and exciting goal. We are looking to recruit geologists with expertise in both surficial and bedrock geologic mapping and experience in the synthesis of 3D geologic data.
