Seeking recent graduates with either a BS or MS in geology, who meet the course requirements to take the ASBOG test for their GIT at some point. No experience required, and no GIT required to apply. We will be thoroughly training whoever is selected. The position is located in our Lacey office. Starting pay is $20/hr, with an expected 40hr work week. Employment would start immediately in the new year.

Must be outgoing and able to offer excellent customer service, as well as capable of working on a two person team or alone. Must be able to manage time, and complete report tasks on time. Will be required to track and log their progress on a daily timesheet. Also requires a valid driver's license and a fair driving record.

Duties to perform include: help during field work (in the rain a lot), including deep soil borings, excavated test pits, soil sampling, slope profile measurements, and hand operated soil testing. Additionally, will be helping with office work, including project coordination, administrative duties, geotechnical analysis, and geotechnical report writing.
