Dear all,

PhD opportunity in sulfide remobilization and critical metals

Are you (or anyone you know) interested in deformation, mineral deposits, and the green energy transition? Are you looking for a PhD project that will use cutting-edge analytical tools and integrate structural- and economic geology, to help provide the critical raw materials needed for electric vehicles, wind turbines, fibre optics, and more? If so, read on!

I’m looking for an enthusiastic, curious student to join me at the University of British Columbia - Okanagan in Canada in September 2025, for a PhD looking at critical- and precious metals in remobilized sulfides (more info here<https://tk.cawood.za.net/prospective-students/>).

If you are interested, please email me at cawood.tk at gmail.com by 1 December 2024.

All the best,
Tarryn
