Subject: Green Corps is currently hiring for the class of 2014-2015
My name is Charlotte and I work with Green Corps, the Field School for Environmental Organizing.
I'm emailing to see if you can forward information about our program to your students at Western Washington University this year. Applications for our 2014-2015 program are now being accepted and our early application deadline is quickly approaching on January 24th. We think this would definitely be a good opportunity for Environmental Studies majors.
Green Corps runs a full year paid training program for college graduates that combines intensive class-room training with leaders in the environmental movement and field placement working on urgent environmental issues with organizations like the Sierra Club and Food & Water Watch. Some of our alumni include Phil Radford, Executive Director of Greenpeace USA and Sarah Hodgdon, National Program Director at Sierra Club.
Can you forward this blurb and link below to your students to let them know about the opportunity?
Don't hesitate to email me back if you have any questions, and thank you!

In the next few months, we'll invite 35 college graduates to join the Green Corps<http://bit.ly/1b6FsOJ> class of 2014-2015.
During Green Corps'<http://bit.ly/1b6FsOJ> full year paid training program, participants will learn grassroots organizing skills from some of the top practitioners in the country while working on three to five different campaigns such as retiring dirty coal-fired power plants, protecting our drinking water, improving our food system and building the campus fossil fuel divestment movement. Organizers will learn important skills such as recruiting volunteers, developing strategic campaigns and building strong coalitions.
Our organizers have worked on behalf of dozens of groups including Sierra Club, Food & Water Watch, and the National Wildlife Federation. Our alumni include Phil Radford, the Executive Director of Greenpeace USA, Sarah Hodgdon, National Program Director for Sierra Club and Heather Smith, President of Rock the Vote.
