Keep your sweaters on...it's going to be a long two weeks if the weather doesn't improve. I guess we now know what is going on with the heat. This is the first msg that I have gotten that there was something wrong.

Subject: UPDATE - ES Heat system down awaiting rebuilt valve *Additional sweater days!*
As you are aware a portion of the heating system for ES is down due to a failed valve. Currently we are waiting for the valve to be rebuilt and then reinstalled. The estimate we have received for rebuilding the valve is around two (2) weeks. Since only a portion of the heating system will be affected you may notice no change at all, or, the building might be a little cooler than it normally would. This only affects the heat system not the domestic hot water. Please address any questions or concerns to the Technical Maintenance Supervisor x3741. Until the repairs are made you may want to keep sweater days ongoing. Thank you all for your patience and flexibility.
You are receiving this notification because you are either an occupant of the building/area affected or you are on a list of persons who have requested to be given information about Shutdown Notifications.
