Program (OTF). OTF provides travel support to attend the GSA Annual
Meeting <http://community.geosociety.org/gsa2014/home/>. This year the
meeting will be in Vancouver, BC, Canada, October 20-22.
The GSA Annual Meeting is a prime venue for students to gain insight
into geoscience research, network, and gain career support among peers
and professionals. I hope you will share this opportunity with your
students.
OTF is open to all students underrepresented in the geosciences
including undergraduate and graduate students from two and four year
colleges, and recent college graduates. The deadline to apply is
Friday, May 30th.
I have attached a one-page flyer for you to pass along to any students
you think might be interested. I can be contacted personally for any
questions regarding this opportunity.
I thank you in advance for helping spread the message to students and to
others who might be interested.
All the best,
Tahlia Bear
