North Cascades Audubon Society
Research Grants Available!

North Cascades Audubon Society provides a financial opportunity for graduate and undergraduate students pursuing research in:

Wildlife
Natural History
Marine & Terrestrial Biology or Ecology
Environmental Education
Environmental Planning or Policy

Financial aid is provided, to help defray the costs related to research, in the form of stipends of about $200 to $400 depending on the number of qualified applicants.

Application Requirements:
    Abstract: A brief written description of your proposed research containing basic, easily understood information on your research objectives and methods and explaining how your research will further the NCAS mission (see below). Limit 100 words.
    Proposal Narrative: Outline your proposed research plan in detail, covering methodology, hypotheses, future applicability, and any relevant background information. Proposal with abstract must be no longer than three pages.
    Budget: Please include an entire, detailed project budget in addition to your proposal narrative.
    Grant Amount Requested: Should be clearly stated after the budget.
    Required Report: NCAS board requests a report on conclusion of research project.

North Cascades Audubon Society's MISSION is to promote the study and conservation of birds and other wildlife, their habitat and environment; to increase public appreciation of the values of wildlife, plants, and the natural environment; and to stimulant action to protect and preserve them for the future.
