One of our candidates cancelled, so we only have one person coming this week (and one more next week).  Students, please fill out your evaluation forms of Kidder and Goodge and put them in my mailbox in the office.  The forms are available in the department office.

This week we have Elisabeth Falk from Woods Hole Oceanographic institute.

Wed., March 11:  10-11  Graduate and undergraduate students meet in Bressler room

12-1 pm:  Research talk in SMATE 230:  Carbonation of peridotite: Natural analogs for carbon capture and storage

Thursday, March 12, 4 pm Classroom presentation ES223: Introduction to crystal structure
