[Geoldept] AGU practice on Dec 4th

Geologists,

>From some informal discussions I've had it seems that the December 4th 12-1pm AGU practice talk slots might be better put to use on poster-related items. So I am requesting that undergraduate and graduate students who would like to preview/practice their poster on the 4th to contact me directly. There are three ways the hour could be spent. Please tell me which you would prefer and I will figure out how to make this work based on the number of students and the democratically-selected approach.

Choose a selection when you email me:

1) very short (3 powerpoint slides) of your 3 key figures on your poster and a 3 minute "short talk" version

2) broadcast your poster on the projector and have folks dissect it after your mini-mini talk

3) bring your printed out poster to CF125 and people will circulate through the room and talk to you individually.
