[Geoldept] Geothermal Design Challenge Overview & Design Tips Webinar

Hi students (grad and undergrad alike),

There is an informational webinar tomorrow at noon about the geothermal energy infographic challenge, sponsored by the Dept. of Energy.  I've attached a flier with more information.  There are five categories about geothermal energy from which teams can choose, and the team submitting the best infographic in each category will win $2,500.  The team submitting the best overall infographic will also win an all-expense paid trip to the Geothermal Resources Council national meeting in Reno, NV in October.  Teams are limited to 2-3 people.

We'll be watching in ES 223 tomorrow at noon (I expect it to last about an hour).  I am hoping that we will have students from the WWU Graphic Design program joining us as well.

The U.S. Department of Energy Geothermal Technologies Office, in partnership with the Center for Advanced Energy Studies and Idaho National Lab is recruiting students in graphic design, communications, science and/or engineering to bolster their portfolio, resume or college applications by entering the 2016 Geothermal Design Challenge.
