GRC Seeking Students For 2016 Student Committee

The Geothermal Resources Council (GRC) is looking for students to represent their peers on a student committee that will have a direct say in association matters.

The GRC is asking students to volunteer to this committee which will send a representative to the full GRC Board of Directors meetings held throughout the year. The student rep will have traveling and lodging expenses paid for.

The Student Committee will discuss issues relevant to their peers around the world:

  * Increasing student involvement in the global geothermal community.
  * Special events for students at GRC Annual Meetings
  *   GRC Student Chapters
  * Internships, jobs, scholarship and grant program

If you are interested please email Anh Lay at alay at geothermal.org<mailto:alay at geothermal.org> with your contact information and a copy of your current student ID with a valid date or class schedule. You must be a student member of the GRC (cost of membership is $5). The first 2016 Student Committee conference call will be in April.
