Hi students,

Interested in geophysics and seismology? Want to do a fabulous paid internship on the cutting edge of seismology? If so, consider applying for an internship with the Incorporated Research Institutions for Seismology (IRIS). Research opportunities typically include topics like volcano geophysics, global earthquakes, and paleoseismology. The application deadline is February 1, and information about the IRIS internship may be found here: http://www.iris.edu/hq/internship/about#announce. You do *not* have to have taken geophysics or seismology, but the internship does require that you have had a year of math and physics and a 3.0 GPA.

Check it out!

aloha,

Jackie
