Hi Theresa,
Can you please let students know NOT to say anything about the 'puppy fund' to Chris tomorrow. It's a surprise from the rest of the faculty that they are giving to her later that evening.
Thanks,
Rebecca

Subject: Chris is retiring! Tomorrow is her LAST DAY! Please keep this under wraps until after 11:00am tomorrow...Thanks.
Hello!
I'm sure most of you already know this, but Chris Sutton is retiring this week! There will be cake & coffee & a large card to sign in the Bressler tomorrow (Thurs) from 11am onwards. Pop by, have some cake, and sign the card if you're around.
And, if you feel so inclined, there is a retirement 'puppy fund' being collected by the faculty (Sue DeBari is collecting funds for this - see email below). Just thought I would mention, I do realize everyone is on a tight student budget so there is no pressure. Please come by to say Goodbye or send her an e-mail for those of you who are off campus. I am sure she would really appreciate hearing from you :).
Cheers,
Rebecca
In case you want to forward information on to the grad students - I am collecting money for a "puppy fund"
for Chris to choose a puppy when she is ready.
There is no pressure to donate, but if anyone would like to contribute to the fund they can give the cash
to me and I will include it in the card. The puppy donation card is in my mailbox for signing.
-Sue
