Hello PNW NAGT,
I'm hoping you can help me promote a research program for undergraduates that is taking place at Central Washington University this summer. It's an interdisciplinary program entitled Hazards and Risks of Climate Change in the Pacific Northwest<http://www.cwu.edu/reu/>. We are specifically interested in recruiting students from two-year colleges in the region, and students in their first two years of college. I've attached a flyer that you can post and send out, and included some additional information below. Please spread the word to your faculty colleagues and students - ideally, they could promote the program in their introductory courses. Please note that this is not just geoscience - it includes biologists, social scientists, science education, museum design, and paleoecology, as well as climate science and geology. I'd be happy to talk with any faculty or students in person, as well.
Thanks! Let me know if you have any questions.

Hazards and Risks of Climate Change in the Pacific Northwest
How is our climate changing in the Pacific Northwest? How will that climate change going to affect you and your community? Are we prepared to adapt to these changes in our climate?
Come join us at Central Washington University for an interdisciplinary research experience<http://www.cwu.edu/reu/projects> where we will address these questions. Our program is open to undergraduates who are currently enrolled at two-year and four-year colleges in the Pacific Northwest, particularly students in their first and second years of college.
