[Geoldept] **Geology* Scholarships!!!

Hi All,
Need Money??? Spring break is a great time to check out some of the scholarships that are available to you. I highly recommend applying to reduce your debt. If you need help writing scholarship letters and tips for applying check out the Career Center they have workshops that can help you. It is also good to give the faculty members at least two weeks, if not more (ideally three weeks), notification for recommendation letters for scholarships and internships.

Several Scholarships are due April 1 and several of our Departmental Scholarships will be due sometime in Spring Quarter -

North Seattle Lapidary and Mineral Club - $2500 due April 1
Kitsap Mineral and Gem Society - $1000 due April 1 (you do need to be a Kitsap County Resident for this scholarship)
