Subject: RE: Washington State geologic survey hiring a full-time, permanent mapping geologist

The Washington State geologic survey is looking to hire a licensed geologist for our geologic mapping program. This full-time, permanent, career-level position (at the state's NRS3 level) is a rare opportunity to practice every day what inspired most members of the profession to become geologists in the first place.

The vacancy announcement and a link to the application are at
https://www.governmentjobs.com/careers/washington/jobs/1700196/geologist-nr-scientist-3?keywords=geologist&pagetype=jobOpportunitiesJobs .

The opportunity to apply ends April 19.
Would you be able to spread the word among your graduates?

Thanks,
Michael

P.s., we also expect to soon have openings for field assistants/early career mappers and would welcome it if you can let your students and recent graduates know to keep their eyes open for that. Michael
