Hello everyone!

I am announcing the T-shirt/Sweatshirt Design Contest! This contest is open to all geology students. We are would like to have the design ready by the time we head out for the holiday break, so they can be sent off to print and ready for winter quarter. Prize to the winner is a $10 Starbuck's gift card and a free shirt with your winning design! All designs will be voted on by both students and faculty, and the winner will be announced 12/11 -the Monday of finals week.

Rules


  1.  Must contain all 3 geology club names (AEG, SEG, WIG) and a Western Geology logo - Shirt will have small logo on the front and a full design on back (see attached layout file). You can include the club names in the small WWU geology design on the front or in the large design on the back. Club logos can be included if you like, but it is not required.
  2.  All designs should be black and white only - no colors
  3.  Must contain only original artwork and cannot contain any copyrighted material - we want your artwork, not someone else's 😃
  4.  Cannot contain anything inappropriate or offensive - you know what I mean
  5.  Must be geology themed - this probably goes without saying, but I thought I would say it anyway
  6.  All designs must be submitted in JPEG format by email to WomenInGeologyWWU at gmail.com<mailto:WomenInGeologyWWU at gmail.com> by 5 pm on Friday, December 1, 2017 - please put Design Contest Submission for the subject and don't forget to include your name somewhere in the email
  7.  Voting for your favorite design will open Monday, December 4 at 12pm and close Friday, December 8, at 3pm. -  submissions will be anonymous at the time of voting
