Hi everyone,
I wanted to let you know that Governor Inslee will be on campus tomorrow talking about his efforts to combat climate change. He has said the more students present the better! Here are the details (and sorry for the short notice):
*******************
What: Open Forum with Governor Inslee to hear his recent thoughts on climate change, what we need to do in Washington State, and his climate work with other governors and global leaders.
When: Wednesday, October 11, 9:30 to 10:15 (please arrive 5-10 minutes early)
Where: Academic West SkyBridge (AW 4th floor lobby)
Details: The governor will talk for 5-10 minutes, leaving lots of time for discussion “with as many students as possible”, faculty, and staff. Beyond the WWU environmental/energy/sustainability community, Bellingham Mayor Kelli Linville and Council Member Pinky Vargas are also invited.
