[Geoldept] WA State Geology Licensing and AEG Fundraiser

Hello all,


Following up with Kate's announcement, I wanted to issue another, more detailed notice about tomorrow's brown bag, "Geologist Licensing in Washington State," that will be given by Dr. Robert Mitchell.


Anyone that is thinking about a career path towards environmental/engineering, especially in the consulting arena, should attend this informational talk. Those who are current undergraduates or recent graduates with a geology-related focus are primed to study and sit for the Fundamentals of Geology examination, which will takes place during March and October of each year. On top of that, Western has fantastic resources for preparing to take the exam.


More detailed information on the process of getting a geologist license tomorrow @ noon in CF 115.
