I wanted to let you know that two Beginning Photography courses are being offered this summer at WWU.



Black and White Photography for Non-Majors will be offered again this summer at Western. It's a fantastic opportunity to get into the darkroom, learn photography, and another way to explore the summer days in Bellingham - with a camera! Also, a great way to earn Art credits! Learn analog & dIgital camera use, hand-developing film, darkroom enlarging, photo-chemical processes, and analog-digital workflows, and develop a portfolio of thematic considerations.



Also, this year for the first time, Beginning Digital Photography will also be offered as an Online course! Topics covered include digital camera operation and the role images play in the contemporary social context.



Here's the basic info, and attached are flyers for the two classes.



B&W Photography for Non-Majors: Art 397W

5 credits, No Pre-reqs, CRN 31209

Tues-Fri, 4:00-9:00 p.m., 3 week course 6/26-7/13





Beginning Photo & The Image Culture: ART397H

5 credits, No Pre-reqs, CRN 31200

Monday & Thursday, ONLINE, 6 week course 7/9-8/17
