Hello All,

The Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) Geosciences Department is looking for a summer intern for the first time this season! Our group provides engineering geologic and geotechnical engineering consulting services for the various lines of business within PG&E (hydro-electric, electric transmission, natural gas transmission, and Diablo Canyon Nuclear Powerplant). The work our group supports essentially spans the state of California which provides a unique opportunity for exposure to lots of geomorphic provinces and the engineering geologic/geotechnical challenges presented in the day-to-day work of a large utility company.

We're looking for either a geology OR civil engineering undergrad or masters student interested in this interdisciplinary intersection of the fields (engineering geology/geotechnical engineering).

This is a paid internship. The position would be based in San Francisco.
