This program is designed to inspire practical solutions that promote conservation of Alaska’s ecosystems for generations to come.

This summer, team members will earn 15 quarter credits (10 semester credits):
·     Identifying key species in Denali National Park and Denali State Park, such as grizzly bears, moose, caribou, wolves and the iconic Dall sheep!
·     Studying the abundance of life that calls the Kenai peninsula home, including sea otters, a variety of whale species, specialized sea birds, porcupines and more.
·     Backpacking the Wrangell Mountains to understand local ecosystem dynamics.
·     Discovering the unique traditions of the Native Alaskans.
