Hello,

At the start of the academic year, you were invited to participate in a web-based survey to evaluate the equity, inclusion, and diversity (EID) efforts within the College of Science and Engineering (CSE). We are now inviting you to participate in a follow up online survey to evaluate the impact the Community Ambassador program has had on the CSE community.

The Community Ambassador program is an EID program created this academic year to help develop a more welcoming environment within CSE (more details can be found here<https://cse.wwu.edu/faculty-ambassadors>). As we make intentional efforts to support our students, faculty, and staff of color, especially those in the black community, we hope this research will help us navigate best practices and future courses of action.

The survey should take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete. Your responses will be used to help determine the impacts of these discussions on the WWU CSE community. Your participation in this survey is voluntary and anonymous. You may refuse to take part in the study or exit the survey at any time without penalty. You are free to decline to answer any particular question you do not wish to answer for any reason. The survey does not collect any identifying information such as your name, email address, or IP address. Therefore, your responses will remain anonymous. No one will be able to identify you or your answers, and no one will know whether or not you participated.
