Hello,

Please spread this notice to any who may be interested.

The Washington Geological Survey is looking for a geologist to assist on two field based projects for 4-8 months’ time, dependent on funding. This announcement is getting out later than anticipated, largely due to constraints resulting from our agency’s pandemic response. Due to the timing and lack of predictability, this position will involve significant field time from August to roughly October and the remainder will be office (work from home) and/or lab work, data compilation, interpretation, analysis, and contributions to report preparation. Depending on the duration of the position, the successful candidate will be directly involved with many or all of these phases of each of our projects.
