Hi everyone,

We have extended the Geology Department Scholarship/Grant application deadline to Sunday, May 2nd, 11:59pm!
All applications, instructions, scholarship descriptions and criteria are on the Geology Scholarship Canvas Page, AY21-22. Please let me know if you did not receive an invitation.

Again, we highly encourage you to apply to all the scholarships you are eligible for!

For those with upcoming research expenses, please consider applying for the Geology Department Advance for Research, which is for both undergraduate and graduate students: "Funds are available for field and laboratory expenses".

Hi everyone!

We are now accepting applications for Geology Department scholarships for academic year 2021-2022! Applications are due on Friday, April 16th, at 11:59pm.

You have been invited to the Geology Department Scholarship Canvas page where you can view each scholarship's criteria under "Instructions" and apply by uploading a letter of application. There are scholarships and research awards available this year for both undergraduate and graduate geology students.
We encourage you to apply to all the scholarships you meet the criteria for! If you did not receive an invitation to the course, please let me know.

Scholarship Spotlight! Myrl E. Beck, Jr. Research Endowment for Undergraduates: If you will be in your last year of study at the start of fall quarter, and you intend to complete Senior Thesis (Geol 490) research in paleomagnetism and/or tectonics, we highly encourage you to apply for this research award.
