Phase II of registration just started this week, so I wanted to point up another of the courses that our department offers next Winter: GEOL 457/557 Practical Paleomagnetism. In this one you'll have the chance to develop an original research study focused on any of the topics and applications that paleomagnetism has in geosciences (check the flyer below!), and in the process, you will learn how to use the scientific instruments hosted in the Pmag Lab facilities<https://geology.wwu.edu/pacific-northwest-paleomag-lab-instruments> at our department
