Hello geopeople,
On this day (Jan 26), 321 years ago, at about 9:00 PM local time, our very own subduction zone produced a nice Mw 9.0 (+) earthquake.
Here is a short news article : On this day in 1700, the ‘really big one’ — a magnitude 9.0 earthquake — hit Western Washington | The Seattle Times<https://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/northwest/on-this-day-in-1700-the-really-big-one-a-magnitude-9-0-earthquake-hit-western-washington/>
Enjoy!
Bernie
