The University of Oregon, Department of Earth Sciences is accepting applications for a summer geoscience field camp (6 weeks total, divided into 3 sections each worth 4 credits). The course will take place throughout Central Oregon, the Oregon Cascades, and Southwest Montana, and themes include Tectonics, Paleontology, Volcanology, Glacial Geomorphology, Stratigraphy, and Structural Geology. The first two sections involve camping on private land, the third section is based out of the University of Montana dormitories, and all three sections involve in-the-field instruction.
