Hi everyone,

I would like to share some links to webinars and reading material that have come into my inbox in the last week or so. I’ve kept it brief here, but there are links attached to get more information.

1. Geological Society of London Special issue:
Celebrating 100 Years of Female Fellowship of the Geological Society: Discovering Forgotten Histories

2. Webinar: A Sense of Place: Indigenous Perspectives on Earth and Sky, featuring Dr. Henrietta Mann

     *   The webinar is entitled, A Sense of Place: Indigenous Perspectives on Earth and Sky, and will take place at 12:00 noon PT on 3/18.  Description: Dr. Henrietta Mann, Tsetsehestaestse (Cheyenne) was Director/Professor in Native American Studies at the University of Montana, Missoula for some 28 years. In 2000 she became the first individual to occupy the Katz Endowed Chair in Native American Studies at Montana State University, Bozeman where she is Professor Emerita, and was Special Assistant to the President from 2003-2016. She is the founding President of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribal College. In 1991, Rolling Stone Magazine named Dr. Mann as one of the ten leading professors in the nation.
