Hi all,
I'm writing to tell you about an amazing program for students interested in developing skill in geophysics and seismology. The Incorporated Research Institutions for Seismology (IRIS) is hosting a Seismology Skills Building Workshop--a remote summer program designed to teach students about seismic data, seismic computing, and basic coding. The SSBW is free and available to anyone who signs up--but you do have to register. Both undergrads and recent graduates who are planning to attend graduate school in the fall are eligible to participate.
More info can be found at the link below, and I'm happy to answer any questions you've got about it. I'm a huge fan of the program, so let me know if you have questions that the website doesn't answer.
