Hi all,
Hope you are enjoying your spring breaks, and getting to take a good long break from your computers.
I sent a message about a live interview a couple of weeks ago about the power of properly characterized female STEM role models in the media, but I’m guessing dead week wasn’t a good time for most people. It was actually a super interesting interview, and thought provoking.
If you are interested in watching, the link to the event is here: https://vimeo.com/527360071
The show’s hosts tend to chat for kind of a long time before the introduction of the interviewer (Wendy Calhoun, writer/producer) and interviewee (Vivian Pinn, physician, professor, former NIH sub-director) so I’d suggest you fast forward through the banter to ~11.40 minutes in, and the interview goes for another 45ish minutes.
-Sue
