My name is Meghan Blodgett-Carrillo, graduate of the WWU Geology Department, Class of 2014.  Materials Testing & Consulting (MTC) is looking to fill 2 laboratory technician positions at our Corporate Lab in Burlington, WA.  I'm hoping you might be able to extend our Work Source job posting to recent graduates on the mailing list.  Many of us currently at MTC are graduates from the WWU Geology program ourselves, so I figured it would be a great place to start to look for new technicians.  MTC laboratories test materials for construction purposes, which includes but is not limited to, concrete, asphalt, soil, and aggregate products.  Having a geology background is very helpful for certain laboratory tests such as grain size analysis, direct shear testing and plasticity index of soils.
