Registration for June 1st PS Webinar: Mentor-Mentee Conversations: Navigating Obstacles in Academia
Mentor-Mentee Conversations: Navigating Obstacles in Academia
Tuesday, June 1st at 5:00pm EST (2:00pm PDT)

Mentors play an integral role in their mentees’ science identity formation, and it is important for students to discuss the impact mentors have on our academic journey. But, in navigating these discussions, where do we begin? The Diversity and Inclusion Committee and Student Representatives of the Paleontological Society want to welcome everyone to join us in starting dialogues on roles, expectations, and other aspects of mentor/mentee relationships.
During the first half of this hour-long webinar, we will hear from several mentors and their experiences. The second half will be devoted to answering pre-submitted questions.

Participants agree to abide by the Paleontological Society Code of Conduct. https://www.paleosoc.org/paleontological-society-policy-on-non-discrimination-and-code-of-conduct/<https://nam11.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.paleosoc.org%2Fpaleontological-society-policy-on-non-discrimination-and-code-of-conduct%2F&data=04%7C01%7Cparkh23%40wwu.edu%7C7d3269d310074127b0c908d9206852ae%7Cdc46140ce26f43efb0ae00f257f478ff%7C0%7C0%7C637576454692238317%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C1000&sdata=tWj%2FczKU6WVlAxeCWH5lOkgbLh7yrVxiyUJ9BKYxPO8%3D&reserved=0>
