Subject: Summer jobs for alumni/grad students/advanced undergrads in Alaskan mineral exploration

Looking to gain work experience in the mineral exploration industry and spend a summer in a beautiful and remote part of Alaska?

Ambler Metals is conducting summer fieldwork in the polymetallic Ambler VMS belt and the Cosmos Hills of the Brooks Range in Alaska and is looking for bright, responsible, and team-oriented geologists to join our team as Soil Samplers, Core Loggers, and Mappers. Work will be based at our remote Bornite Camp and the season is expected to run approximately mid June - Aug/Sept with a 20 days on/10 days off rotation schedule in and out of Fairbanks, AK. Accommodation around start dates due to school scheduling is possible. Preference is given to NANA shareholders and folks who are Alaska-based or can remain in Alaska for the duration of the work season.

We have openings in 4 different geology roles for the 2022 season depending on your education and experience level:

For those with undergrad-level education (current upper level undergrads or recent grads) with no or little industry experience: Soil Sampler - https://amblermetals.applicantpro.com/jobs/2156606.html<https://nam11.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Famblermetals.applicantpro.com%2Fjobs%2F2156606.html&data=04%7C01%7Cparkh23%40wwu.edu%7Cf3dc2a75f5344867e77508d9e803032a%7Cdc46140ce26f43efb0ae00f257f478ff%7C0%7C0%7C637795921908436899%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000&sdata=I%2Bd55FH2YCCSphS%2FhlwtfMweqXTEUfjll5UNSIrlcWw%3D&reserved=0>
