Hi Geostudents!
I am looking for 1-2 junior or senior students who are interested in participating in undergraduate research and/or pursuing an undergraduate thesis project. The project length can range from 2 to 3 (or more) quarters and involves analyzing minerals in lavas from Klah Klahnee/Three Sisters volcanoes in central Oregon. You will get to hone your petrography skills and gain first-hand experience operating high-end scientific instruments. Starting time would be Spring 2022 and there are also possibilities for field work experience this summer! Pre/co-requisite: GEOL 406
If you’re interested, please read the additional information provided here<http://maysas.com/potential-students.html> and shoot me an email by Feb. 11!
