[Geoldept] Geotech Drilling

[Robert Mitchell]

Geo Test Services Inc is currently drilling the East College Way landslide (behind Miller Hall) in support of a new retaining wall design to widen the roadway. The drilling will be completed by midafternoon today (Thursday).

Kurt Parker, the Geotechnical Manager (and WWU alum) for Geo Test Services Inc. would be pleased to have WWU geology students and faculty attend some of the field work, and eventually observe the construction of the wall.
