I just wanted to pass on information about an internship position for next summer at the gold mine I work at outside Fairbanks, Alaska. Kinross is looking for interns for next summer at Fort Knox Gold Mine just outside Fairbanks and it's a good opportunity for any students in the Geology department that are interested in entering the mining industry. Relocation, transportation, and temporary housing for the duration of the internship is provided, students will just need to commit to working 10 to 12 weeks during the summer and pass a standard drug test. The position closes October 31st and the link to the job posting is down below. We're looking for primarily undergraduates but master students may also apply as well.
