Hello to all associated departments at Western Washington University!

I am Zarah Ahmed, an officer on the board of the Muslim Student Association here at Western, and I just wanted to let you know that we will be holding our annual Ramadan Banquet on April 12th! RSVPs are accepted until April 11th, doors open at 6:15pm with the program beginning at 6:45pm. Catering will be provided by Calypso Kitchen, who specializes in Caribbean-style food, and will have halal meat and gluten-free options.
We would appreciate it if you could send a notice to faculty and students alike who are interested in attending this event!

I have also attached the Ramadan Accommodations document that has been approved by the Student Senate and AS Council. Please take a look at it when there is a chance to get a better understanding of how you can accommodate the students and faculty that are observing Ramadan.
