My team in the WA State Department of Natural Resources Aquatics Division is hiring an Aquatic Land Technician, who would be based in the DNR NW Region Office in Sedro-Woolley. It's a great first position after graduation, and while it's not a direct geology position, it requires many of the skills developed as a geology student.

I am an alumna of the WWU Geology Dept and would be more than happy to talk with any students who would like to learn more about government/public service work, working at DNR, or the work that DNR Aquatics Division does.
