Hi Doug!

We are hiring! Can you send out the info below to WWU students/recent grads? Thanks!

The Washington Geological Survey<https://www.dnr.wa.gov/geology> is looking for two entry-level geoscientists with a passion for landslides to join the Survey’s Landslide Hazard Program. This one-year position is an opportunity to learn new skills, build your geology knowledge, and get familiar with the work of the Washington Geological Survey. You will contribute to the mission of the Program by using lidar terrain derivatives and orthoimagery to identify and map alluvial fans in Chelan County, part of the Program’s post-wildfire debris flow hazard work. If you enjoy teamwork, are enthusiastic about GIS, have an interest in slope instability and mass wasting, and are looking to enter a career in the geosciences, you would be a perfect fit for this position! The recruitment closes on 7/31/2023. Click the link below for more info.
