Hi everyone!

We are now accepting applications for Geology Department Scholarships and Research Advances for academic year 2023-2024! You should have received an invitation to the Geology Department Scholarship Canvas Page, where you can view scholarship criteria under "Instructions" and apply by uploading a letter of application.

There are scholarships available for undergraduate and graduate geology students.

Applications are due by Sunday, April 30th, at 11:59pm.

  *   Myrl E. Beck, Jr. Research Endowment for Undergraduates: If you will be in your last year of study at the start of fall quarter and you intend to complete Senior Thesis (Geol 490) research in paleomagnetism and/or tectonics, we highly encourage you to apply for this research award.
