Hi everyone,

Please join us remotely on Friday, May 26, at 12pm for a Geology Lunch Talk! This GLT will feature two presentations:

-A senior thesis presentation by undergraduate Stone Machel: "Using trace element concentrations in volcanic ash to elucidate magma sourcing to Koma Kulshan's (Mount Baker) most recent explosive eruption - the 6.7 ka Black Andesite (BA) tephra"
-A research presentation by Claire Rowan-Arnett (WWU Research Assistant, Geology alum): "Using Microlite Number Density to Understand the Variation in Magma Decompression Throughout a Single Eruption at Cinder Cone, Lassen Volcanic National Park, CA"
