Kane Environmental, Inc. (Kane Environmental) is currently seeking a Geologist/Hydrogeologist or Environmental Scientist for our Seattle office. Kane Environmental (www.kane-environmental.com<http://www.kane-environmental.com/>) is an environmental consulting company headquartered in Seattle, WA. This position requires a minimum of Bachelor's degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Geoscience, or related scientific/engineering field and 0-3 years of experience. The position includes completing ASTM Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA), Phase II ESA conducting fieldwork (sampling soil, soil vapor, indoor air, and groundwater), and other environmental project work.



Responsibilities include performing technical tasks including:

  *   Property historical research and regulatory records searches
  *   Fieldwork for soil and groundwater sampling and other media
  *   Creating analytical tables
  *   Creating figures using AutoCad LT
  *   Phase I and Phase II ESA report writing

Knowledge of geological principles including but not limited to physical geology, hydrology, hydrogeology, stratigraphy, geomorphology, environmental geology, geochemistry and geophysics is helpful. Other environmental related course work is applicable.



Very important that candidate possesses proven strong organizational abilities, excellent written and oral communication skills.

Proficiency with current MS Office products is required.

Valid Driver License and ability to travel <10% annually.



Competitive salary is commensurate with experience. Salary range $50,000 to $60,000 plus benefits.
