Students, please consider participating in the AEG Student Night. It is a good opportunity to share your work and network. Below is an email I got today from Tom Doe, the AEG Puget Sound Chapter president.
I've written a final call for submissions which I'd greatly appreciate your sharing with students.
A couple of points based on responses:
* We will take more submissions up to Monday April 15 but the sooner the better for our planning
* It's fine to recycle existing posters e.g. from AGU
* We can support reasonable poster printing costs if it's not available from your department
* We'll open at 5 on the 18th for set up and provide mounting materials
* All areas of earth sciences are welcome - not just engineering and environmental geology. The first place winner last year was on extraterrestrial geology.
* Submissions should be emailed to aegpugetsound at gmail.com<mailto:aegpugetsound at gmail.com>

Hey everyone,
I hope the start of Spring quarter has been going well. I got an email yesterday from AEG Puget Sound and they have extended applications for the Student night. Sounds like they are still willing to accept proposals both this week and next week. If you are interested in showing off the work you have been doing to potential employers, an excellent networking opportunity, and a chance to win prizes, send a proposal to aegpugetsound at gmail.com<mailto:aegpugetsound at gmail.com>. More information is provided in the pdf.
Cheers,
Henry Williams
